About the P4T Forum

The year-long e-dialogue will culminate in the P4T Forum, to be hosted at the University of British Columbia, June 14-16, 2006. It will be the annual meeting of the Canadian Association of Planning Students (CAPS) and is being held in the spring in order to coordinate with the unique events surrounding WUF 2006. It is for these reasons also that planning students from around the world are being invited to join with Canadian students. The last time that SCARP hosted the CAPS conference was in 2000 and it was a great success (CAPS 2000) http://www.interchg.ubc.ca/caps2000/

Two considerations to keep in mind:

  1. The sessions need to be designed to include finalization of the recommendations to go forward to the WPC and WUF.
  2. Potential participants have expressed a strong desire to create opportunities for varied formats that are highly participatory and reflect the diverse modes and media for interaction becoming available to Planners for Tomorrow.

Further ideas about the program will be posted as they evolve through the dialogue. Send us your ideas: start a new topic in the online forums , or contact us via email.
